Living in the new town of Livingston gives Martin Sweeny ideal access to the most picturesque and beautiful landscapes Scotland has to offer.

In all kinds of weather Martin travels from the Scottish borders to the highlands and far beyond to the islands that lie off Scotland ’s rugged coastline to fulfil his keen interest in photography.

Martin’s love is to capture beautiful images of Scotland ’s landscape and places of historic interest.

Martin also has a special interest in night and low light photography, although technically challenging and by far the most difficult type of imagery to produce, when it is done well it offers spectacular results.
